Have you found yourself saying "how can I get money to start my own business?"

Do you have a brilliant idea? Having trouble getting the capital needed to put your idea into motion? Here are some simple and easy yet efficient tips on how to get money to start a business.

Difficulty: Moderate

Instructions

  1. 1
If you are sitting at your desk with a great idea but constantly thinking, "How can I get money to start a business", then maybe you need to scale down. If you don't have the capital, start slow. Get the business running part time and keep your full time job in order to fund the project.
  2. 2
Use your current job to line up possible customers and clients. This is not to suggest that you steal clients from your employer, but use the positive relationships that you have built and inquire about the needs of people that you may have worked with in the past.
  3. 3
Possibly the most basic, yet most painful ways to get money to start a business is to cut down your expenses. If you want to make money, or gather start up capital, decrease your every day spending. Even cutting out that daily trip to Starbucks can make a big difference.
  4. 4
If you are still thinking," how can I get money to start up a business", start investigating more complicated avenues. Take the time to apply for a home equity line of credit. Often times, banks will give you a loan of up to 80 percent of your home's value.

If you own your home and have a minimal mortgage this can be a great option. You can get your hands on a big portion of money to get your business started.
  5. 5
If you don't own a home, or have a massive mortgage, you should apply for a business loan. These loans can be hard to get so you should prepare a detailed business and marketing plan. There is a good chance that you will get rejected, but do not be disappointed and stick to your guns.

Your other option is look into a lending club. This is a group of investors that can help you get some working capital (see resources below).
  6. 6
Inquire within your bank about the possibility of an SBA-guaranteed loan. If you are unsuccessful in your application for a business loan, this can provide an alternate route. While your bank may not approve you, they can supply a local SBA office with all your information so you do not have to put together two separate proposals.
  7. 7
Another, but more difficult, route is to apply for grants. Typically grants are very specialized and can be difficult to obtain. If you get lucky you may have a business that falls into the right criteria for getting a grant.
  8. 8
The final option and least favorable option is to borrow money from your family or friends. I caution against doing this because the strain that it can put on your relationships with your family or friends may not be worth it in the long run.
  9. 9
Getting your hands on money and learning how to get money to start up your own business can be quite a time consuming and difficult task. However, there are a number of viable options available to you and the rewards can be plentiful. Stop thinking, "how can I get money to start a business" and put your ideas into action.

THE NEXT SUPERSTAR FROM AFRICA

FELYXE- The Next Superstar from Africa, an embodiment of vocal treasure, a redefinition of music, an Diva from the heart of Nigeria. Watch out for this teenager who has vowed to shock the world with his style, gentle, cool, inspiring, rebranding, and very intellectual. When interviewed by our correspondents, he said "I do the things i do by the inspiration of God, he is my all in all and i do only the kind of music that does not promote any social vices, that is music for the old, young, and young at heart. I love music, it is life"

FELYXE- This is just a dream am about to make real, am coming from the backdoor of teenage to the front door of stardom, i want to make the world know that this is a redefinition of what they think about music, and also tel them that life is not about who you are or what you are, it is about what you think you are and what you want to be in addition to how you work towards it.

MY LIFE- I was born in Abuja, Nigeria and grew up in Lagos. Music has been on the inside since "i cant remember" but to me it has come to limelight and has come to stay for god. I still need some sponsorship in my exploration for stardom.

Felyxe: THIS IS ME IF YOU DONT KNOW ME, YOU KNOW NOBODY LOL!!!!!!!

How to Become a Celebrity

Become a Celebrity
Andy Warhol once said that everyone will have 15 minutes of fame. This may or may not be true, but to achieve celebrity status and stay there, you'll have to be persistent. Here are some things to keep in mind.

Steps

  1. 1
Have a personality, any personality. Without this, things won't go easy

    Artist Booking Agency

Shakira, Placido Domingo, Flamenco. Corpotare Events & Shows
    www.totalisimo.net
  2. 2
Work on your singular talent, whether it's cooking, acting, singing, writing, whatever.
  3. 3
Try to reach the widest possible audience. Homemade saucy videos and raunchy reality shows seem to be a good ticket. (Not everyone will be invited, but if you are - you're still not there yet).
  4. 4
Get the best agent you can. Don't "jump into bed" with just any of them yet, but when you find a good one be loyal. That way you'll share the same interest - YOU.
  5. 5
Invest your own money with a Record Label to release an album starring you (it's called co-production).
  6. 6
Get a good publicist. You must be on front pages or inner covers. Always get a full page somewhere or a page where your mug dominates. (If you don't get this, forget the rest).
  7. 7
Start anywhere and smile. Work your way up in circulation.
  8. 8
Participate in cameos. Lend your face, your voice or both. Ads, Charity announcements and Feature appearances known to help.
  9. 9
Monitor your popularity with polls and participation in Awards. (If you picked a good agent, she/he will help here big time).

Tips

  • Have a website, blog or both and network them.
  • Becoming a "low cost" celebrity can be anyone's niche.
  • Every once in a while, do something outrageous.
  • Try to be witty or funny at times but don't force it if and when not natural.
  • If you want to stay famous, you'll need to add to the life of those who have come to love you.
  • Have as many connections as possible, including other celebrities.
  • Don't be afraid of being aggressive with producers.
  • Love your fans!(important)
  • Star a web show or create a magazine for your city or community.
  • Always change your hair and clothes.
  • Act posh

Warnings

  • You can make history or become history; your choice.
  • Contrary to popular belief, being celebrity is not always easy. Once you are famous, your personal life is no longer your own. Try to keep it separate as much as you can.
  • Be aware of scams. Submissions to talent agencies should be free. If anyone demands your money for it, do not listen to them.
  • Don't get to know Joe Johnson too well. And, always check your spelling.
  • You never given a dime without the power to make it come true although you have to work for it
